Vibrating Breast

Hey! I have been feeling this weird vibrating/rattling in my right breast the last few months. Its not all the time but often enough! like maybe once a day.

Im still breast feeding my baby, she is 7 months old. I had mastits about 4 months ago and a blocked milk duct that Is still there but quite small.

Just wondering if anyone has exspereinced similar symptons while breastfeeding or shoild i be concerned about the vibrating?

It is also always in the same place i should mention!

Thanks!

Is your breast vibrating or does it feel like twitching muscle ? I breastfed my son and am breastfeeding my daughter now, had blocked milk duct and mastitis but I have never had vibrating breasts.

The only way I can describe it is, have you ever had a chesty cough and when you breath you can feel the rattling of the fluid on your lungs?

It feels exactly like that but in the one area all the time

Is it the same breast you have blocked duct and where you had mastitis? I would call my gp if I were you. If mastitis didn't clear properly and it feels like there might be fluid, you might have an abscess. Either way, bet way would be to get it checked out by medical professional.

It could be thrush, is it ever itchy? And check your babies mouth to see if there is a white film on their tongue that doesn't wipe off.

If so it is easily treated at home, no need to go to the doctor. Let me know and I will post the guidelines xx
