OMG ☺ hello I'm new to this group ND needed so many answers answered. So here goes nothing. okay. So January 30th was the first day of my period lasted till February 5th. My boyfriend and I have been together 2years and on my birthday February 18th . We decided to try for a baby. It is March 11th and today was my ovulation day. We did the deed and realize I will be able to take a home test March 24th or before with is the day I start my period witch intact if I start I understand we are not pregnant. But here's the thing. Say if I got pregnant today. March 11th 2018 how do I find out how far along I am if they say you add on this amount of of added 7 days to you last period to subtracting 3 months. It says I'd be 5weeks. But how if I didn't ovulate till today and he's been you know inside of me since my B-Day February 18th. We have sex A LOT so he's doing it every time we have sex now but Im lost on to why it says I'm 5weeks by my last period if I am just conciving today that is if in 2 weeks I am pregnant. So on the 24th of March comes and I missed my period am I already 5weeks by then or 7 since its saying I am 5 now but how am I now if I didn't ovulate until today I am confused please help me understand. Also if I ovulated today and am in the mix of being pregnant when would my dude date e and how far along am I really. I've taken 3 pregnancy test since we did have sex on my B-Day and that was the first time he did it in me that would mean I'd be pregnant now but all the test have been negative. So show am I 5weeks. I am so lost I hope one of you can help me. Please sorry for the long rant just trying to give the whole story. Thanks for reading and replying to those that do.

I'm slightly confused but to try and help you out. You always date a pregnancy from your last period the first day of your last period so your not even pregnant for the first two weeks it's just medically how they date you. They always add two weeks on to when you actually conceived. You shouldn't take a test till you've missed your period. That will give you definite answer. You ovulate sperm should be waiting for the egg it takes the egg 12-24 hours to fertilize then another 3-6 days to travel down the tube to the uterus then another fews days to implant once the egg has implanted you'll start producing hormone hcg this is the hormone that gets detected to say your pregnant via urine or blood it needs yo have been produced for 2-3 days to be able to show in a urine test by this time your period would be due. That's why it's best not to take a test till day after your period is due 💗🤗😘

OK. Thank K you so much for helping since you wor confused lol I tried to not make it so confusing but it just was lol with is why I posted this is my first post and didn't even think I'd get a reply so fast. OK so if I do concived today in 2 weeks with is when my period is to come I can take a test and by then if it's positive I'm 4weeks? Or how far along will I be by the 24th of this month if I did pretty got pregnant anytime during my ovulation window and today ovulation day.

You'd date from your last period so when's the date if your last period. Usually if your cycles are regular it would work out to be 4 weeks. Then when you have your dating scan you'll get more accurate dates 💗🤗😘

My last period was January 30th to February 5th. And ovulated today

So my period is to come March 24th how far along would I be by then the internet says I'm 6weeks already. That's why I'm super lost like how when I'm only ovulated today. Well March 10th.

So are you irregular then that seems like a long time away for your last period. Regular periods are usually anything from 26-35 days apart 💗🤗😘

If I was you wait till you miss your period if you are pregnant go to your drs with your lmp and your ovulation date then they'll have an estimated date. Then when you have your dating scan you'll get a more accurate date. Good luck 💗🤗😘

Well in my calendar it says 28days. So how do you figure I am irregular. Although I very much so am. Witch now you have my brain thinking. Cuz yes February 5th being my last day is very far now that I think of it if I'm not having a period till March 24th IDK I'm lost lol

OMG. So it was set to 53 days with means I did miss a period already. And I should of just had one if my periods wor every 28days. Wow thanks for helping me realize but I'm guessing my calender just went off of when I had my one before Jan OK so I'm all off track and missed a period and if I am do for a period it will be on the 27th of this month wow OK I'm Hally I learned something new. Thank you. So If I'm on track I missed a period and will have one soon OK and ovulation day isn't for 3more days. Wow. Happy I caught this now.

Even if you have sex before ovulation, sperm can stay in there for 5 days.

Say you were due on today but missed your period and had a positive test. They would go from the FIRST day of your LAST period.

You'll be given a rough due date but you won't be given a definite due date until you 12/13 weeks scan as they go off measurements of the baby.

OK. So I found out I missed my last period my last was January 30th to February 5th I was due for another the end of February and would of just gotten off witch means I wouldn't be due to ovulate till Tuesday Tomar the 13th but he been in my fertility window since last Thursday. So if I missed my last period and my test are all negative then if I ovulated Tomar and get pregnant how will I know to take another test.
