Surprise surprise, my period came again yesterday. Sick of getting so depressed over it now. The stress and everything is just too much! 😔

Sorry to hear this wasn’t the month for you hun. Did you get the ovulation test strips? They’re good for ruling out issues with ovulation. You may or may not be ovulating, also bear in mind that it might not be you at all, it could just as easily be an issue with sperm count.

Fingers crossed for next month hun xxx

I've ordered some ovulation test strips the clear blue ovulation ones, but they're taking forever to come, I ordered 20 so I could test near enough everyday! But haven't been able to yet as I haven't received them, I'm so impatient it's annoying!

I know I've always had a gut feeling though that I can't have children or more so it's my worse fear, I don't know whether I'm mistaking my worse fear for a gut feeling so I'm just extremely paranoid that I can't have children!

Thank you! My fingers are crossed too! xxx

Hopefully they’ll arrive in time for this month, I just got cheap ones from amazon and they came quickly. I used to think I would struggle too but here I am at 39 pregnant with #3 so don’t worry.

Chase them up and start a fresh this month hun xx

After replying to you, I got home and they had arrived 😁. I’m definitely going to start fresh this month, hopefully it will happen soon and congratulations!! Do you know what you’re having? Xx

Ahhh brilliant!! If you’ve got 20 I’d start doing them at day 7, (you’re on day 2 now) you could ovulate early you never know.

Aw thank you, yes I found out this time and I’m having a girl. I’ve got a 10 yr old girl and a 1yr old boy.

If you’ve any questions and I can help I’m more than happy to xx

ffsjes in reply to Lyndsaytw79

If i'm still bleeding though, I wouldn't be ovulating would I, so there would be no need to test?

That's lovely! Nice to have a girl after having two boys, any ideas on names yet or?

Thank you so much, I will do! xx

No don’t test yet, start testing around day 7 providing your period has finished.

Still stuck on names, I keep changing my mind 😂 xx

It's just devastating! 5 months we have been trying now, just gets frustrating as I can't help but get my hopes up, I'm trying to just 'see what happens' sort of thing, but I end up getting my hopes up to not have a period.

I hope yours doesn't too, my fingers are crossed for you! What tablets have you brought to help with a clear out? If you don't mind me asking that is... x

Thanks Hun , but don’t give up. I had a missed miscarriage and a dc in August so I started trying end of September! I also have vitamin deficiency so I’ve had to get a prescription from doctors which I’ve been taking along with my other vitamins and folic acid ! Just don’t be yourself up hun it will happen when least expected ! The only thing I would say is try and take all vitamins required and enjoy making babies ! All the best for you and everything crossed. Xx

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to Sisi14

I’m sorry to hear that hun I really am 😔 it will happen soon enough! We both just have to relax and see what happens I guess! I take folic acid but other than that I’m not sure what other vitamins to take to be honest, everyone just says to me folic acid! Xx

That’s ok Hunni it just wasn’t my time it’s been hard and I won’t forget the twins they’re my sleeping angels! Thankyou. I would take vitamin c and d Hun you can get them over the counter and cut down on caffeine intake if you like a lot of tea and coffee! Hope all goes well xx

I'm sorry, I'm always here if you need a chat honestly! I've not been through it myself but my mom has, my mom's fairly young (shes 36, i'm 21) and she has suffered miscarriages, to the point where the one, we almost lost her, she had to have 3 blood transfusions.

Thank you for your help! I'll get some more vitamins the weekend! xx

Hi hun,

Sorry to hear this but remember 5 months isn't really that long. Have you had your vit d checked that can have an impact on conceiving and sustaining pregnancy sometimes it's a simple thing that can be rectified easily. But don't put to much pressure on yourself hun it's still early days 💗🤗😘

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to AllWeNeedIsluv

Heya!

Yeah I know it’s not long in reality, just feels a life time when it’s all you think about! I haven’t had my vitamin D checked no, perhaps I should, how do I go about that? & I know, thank you for taking time to read and comment 😘💖

AllWeNeedIsluv profile image
AllWeNeedIsluv in reply to ffsjes

Ask your gp to check your levels it's really common in this country to be low. 💗🤗😘

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to AllWeNeedIsluv

I'll go ask my gp then! I'm going to buy some vitamin C and D tablets the weekend too, so hopefully it'll all work out well xxx

5months does feel like an eternity one month felt like an eternity to me... women do go a bit crazy when ttc but in the grand scheme of things 5 months isn't long and certainly doesn't mean you are infertile!!

Try and relax (easier said that done).

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to roxannacar

Yeah after the first month I thought, wow that dragged. Now, it feels like years😔 I know it’s not really that long but feels so haha.

I’m definitely going to start fresh this month with ovulation tests and see what happens and relax x

Hi,

I know it feels like a long time but 5 months isn't that long. I think at school we taught having unprotected sex once will result in pregnancy! It can take a little while.

It took nearly 2 years for myself and my partner to conceive (now 17 weeks) and I know its horrible waiting every month. The ovulation tests are a good idea, we used the clear blue ones.

Good luck and hope it goes well x

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to Staceq

Heya hun,

Yeah it does feel a life time but I know that in reality, 5 months isn't at all long. I agree with what you said about being taught that in school, I know it doesn't happen like that, or that easy but just frustrating isn't it.

Congratulations!! I hope everything goes really well for you!

Yeah I have brought the clear blue ovulation tests, I have 20 so hopefully I'll know when I'm ovulating if I am at all.

Thank you x

I had the same problem me and my partner were trying for nearly a year kept getting my hopes up every month then I just thought it's not going to happen and just got use to it...im now 24 weeks 3days pregnant we couldn't believe it when we found out I would say stop trying as hard like we did they say to have intercourse 3 times a week not every day...fingers crossed for you hun it worked for me xxx

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to Lucy51108

Heya :)

It's frustrating isn't it! I think not to try so hard would be a good idea, as you're not constantly thinking about it, where as I am at the moment so it's getting me quite down. My partner says just let it happen, it will happen when the times right but I'm just impatient haha!

Congratulations! I hope it all works out good for you! & Yeah we don't have intercourse everyday, don't have time too haha! hopefully it'll all work out soon, thank you! xxx

It is very frustrating we I thought it was my partner as he a lot older than me lol but yeah stop trying as hard as you are and relax I know it's hard and fingers crossed it will happen soon....thank you I just hope he stays in there till full term but looks like he won't.. ..wish you all the best xxx

ffsjes in reply to Lucy51108

Think that's they key tbf, I will do and hopefully it does haha.

Have you had premature birth before or? How come it looks like he won't be full term?

& Thank you, you too xxx

Hya yeah my other son was 8 weeks early and had bad pregnancy with this one so they think will go early again just looks like I'm not a good carrier lol but this the last one for me lol xx

ffsjes profile image
ffsjes in reply to Lucy51108

I'm sure everything will be fine though, even if this baby comes early too! I was born really early, I was due on the 28th Feb 97 but I was born on the 24th Nov 96, ridiculously early haha.

Aw, I'm sure you'll change your mind ;) xx
