I feel upset stomach almost all day

Dear moms, I am 10 weeks pregnant and due to the bad cold, the doctor prescribed me Amoxicillin. the medicine worked quite well for my coughing, yet, compared with last week, I feel upset stomach and do not feel like eating anything. Is it some kind of morning sickness? I usually feel morning sickness after brushing my teeth, followed by empty throwing up, but this feels different, I mean when I say upset stomach, I do not feel nauseous but somehow my stomach has been stirred. I do not know what to do. My husband complains that I am not eating as much as I am supposed to, but I just do not have the appetite. Can you help me advise, thank you.

It could be either... morning sickness can be variable but antibiotics can cause nausea (this tends to settle once antibiotics are stopped). I would worry about eating a little less for a few days ... fairly normal in the first trimester... make sure you keep up the fluids tho

Hi Aalia i felt the same way up to my 13th week. i am now 17 weeks and its a queezy feeling that you are feeling that why its hard to explain. I went to go see my Ob Dr about that same feeling and she said that is normal and if appetite is not big nor eating much that is normal too. She recommended GIngerale and that worked great for the queeziness. After drinking that as often as i needed i was able to eat a little more.

Until this day i still get that morning sickness after brushing my teeth. Good thing its just after brushing and doesn't last all day anymore. But good luck and i hope this info was a little help to you.

**Try and eat something when you take your antibiotic that may help you too.. :)
