Have you tried that anti allergy medicine for children, it’s used for allergy and hay fever etc ?

Has your little one been to the gp ? To see what the cause is ? X

These are the best ones but check with side effects and ages x

Over-the-counter antihistamines include:

Cetirizine (Zyrtec)

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)

Fexofenadine (Allegra)

Loratadine (Alavert, Claritin)

Sorry to hear your little one is poorly. I would say it’s probably best to follow the advice you received from your doctor who is a medical professional rather than have us give you a list of medicines to try out. Did the doctor even say it was an allergy/hay fever? These symptoms could just be due to dry air and a humidifier in the room would do the trick for example. Or have you changed detergent recently? My daughter gets itchy eyes after swimming or if we stay in a hotel and we put the air conditioning on. If you’re unsure, get a second opinion or speak to your pharmacist. Hope you find a solution soon! X

Are you breastfeeding? Squirt some breast milk in his eyes - magic stuff. Onion is supposed to help with ear infections, cut one up and leave it in the same room as him - google it for more info.

Did the GP check his ears for infection or advise what might be causing the itching? Bathe each eye with a different piece of cotton wool using cooled boiled water.

Always best to follow gp advice. However my daughter is the same and she is just fussing due to her teething. It looks like she is itching her ears in bed. Also she has long lashes too so these get rubbed with her hands as she is waking.
