Milk and yogurt are fine (full fat). Some fruit will be ok provided you pair it with something which is high in protein or fat - so full fat Greek yogurt with blueberries and mixed seeds.

You need to think low sugar, low carb, high protein, high fat.

Please look on gestationaldiabetes.co.uk - it’s excellent! I follow it and my GD (second pregnancy) is under control.

There’s a fb page too. Good luck.

Hey there.. I also had GD. Breakfast I would have coffee but with milk without lactose and bread would be Brown or one with seeds. Cheese is fine. Yogurts my doctor advised me the ones from weighwatchers. Look for the ones saying no added sugar.

First days I found it frustrating, but then you just nees to swap some things for some that release sugar slower like Jasmine rice instead of white rice.
