Am I pregnant?

Me and my boyfriend have sex quite regularly and I’ve been having unusual feelings. Pregnancy was not on the agenda although this would be my first child. Feelings included Tiredness, peeing a lot and feeling quite bloated. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet however I started to bleed. What started off as light pink, turned a little more red and has been ongoing for 2-3days now. Is something wrong?

Could you be getting your period? I don't know what's normal for you, but it could be that. Alternatively, you could be pregnant. You don't mention whether you are using contraception or not, but if you're having regular unprotected sex, you are trying to get pregnant, whether you call it that or not.

My period isn’t due for another 8 days from now. I have a normal 28 day cycle too, it’s only been recently we’ve thought about going through with trying for a child. So could this be?

I also keep getting lower abdomen pains but they’re on and off

Try taking a pregnancy test. If you don’t want to get pregnant you need to use contraceptives

Take a pregnancy test to be sure that it's pregnancy. The bleeding might just be a period.

Could be implantation bleeding. Some women get this in the lead up to when their period is due or at the time of their normal period (I did). Or it could be that your period is early which can also happen sometimes for a range of reasons. Take a pregnancy test when your period is due. If you test too early you could get a false negative if your pregnancy hormone levels aren’t high enough to be detected yet. X

Did you come on your period?

I came on my period last Tuesday 2nd January. However where they usually last for around 4-5 days. I’m still on now and I’m not sure why?
