Hi ladies, I’m pregnant with my first and I have my 20 week scan soon, do you have any advice for this please?

No advice really as not much that you can do but wanted to wish you luck and hope everything is good and your pregnancy is going well x

There isn't a lot really hun. Our son was a tinker (as usual) he was upside down then wouldn't keep still then cast a shadow over his heart with his arm Haha! I'm 25 weeks now n he loves to be a tinker on scans.

They check everything, the face, kidneys, stomach, head, heart. You name it they check it so it takes a little longer than the usual scans. Good luck with your pregnancy 😁 xx

Thank you chick, 12 week scan the baby wouldn’t do anything just wanted to stay still and not move around for the lady. Thank you and good luck to you x

Try having a glass of fresh orange an hour before your scan hun. I drunk some right before my scan and he wouldn't keep still!

I had mine last week too, it’s also my first and I can honestly say it’s the best feeling in the world. it’s just amazing what you can see on the screen and I also found out the sex 😊

Just relax and enjoy it, I know it’s hard, I was a nervous wreck going in, but it truly an amazing experience. Best of luck xx

If you don't want to know the sex tell them before you lie down. It takes about 15-20 mins so don't be alarmed if you seem to be laid there for ages without any feedback! It's a wonderful chance to see your baby's heartbeat pulsing, see it's internal organs and see how much the little tinker has grown since 12 weeks. Enjoy 😊 xx

We had our 20 week scan this week and it was brilliant to see the pickle again. Although someone wouldn’t let the sonographer see their heart all the way round so we’re back after Christmas. It’s a wonderful moment though.

All is good- glad that the morning sickness is gone. Now for the exhaustion. Hope that your first scan goes well.
