My ears are driving me CRAZY!! Since yesterday. I am 34 weeks and they've been clogging up and all I can hear is myself talk and breath. Especially my left ear, i can feel it's totally clogged. Did any one experience like this? Please help me..

Awaiting for your reply ladies.

I had an intermittent blocked left ear for the majority of the pregnancy. Might not be the same thing but have you tried standing up and then bending over getting your head as close to your knees as you can?

I found this relieved my blocked ear for a bit. After a google it was suggested that something was being pinched in the neck effecting hearing. All gone after the birth.

If that doesn’t help and yours is congestion, head over boiling water to inhale the steam to try to clear it?

Thank you emma, i have tried bending my head even still no sign of improvement. I can't heard anything properly. I am thinking of seeing the doctor but have meeting today and tomorrow. I don't know what to do.😢😥😢

Doesn’t seem to be the same thing I had. Do you think it’s more likely to be congestion due to a cold? Does a hot shower improve it for a while?

Probably best to seek medical advice. If you can’t get to the dr perhaps a pharmacist could recommend something over the counter that’s ok if you are pregnant?

Hope it gets better soon x

I have no idea about congestion dear, it maybe or something wrong with my ears. But when I shared with my female colleagues here they said it's happening with the pregnancy due to more fluid growing inside and our body gets weaker. It will be alright after the delivery..Therefore i am quit relieved thinking that it happened to someone else too.

Anyway thanks for yourconcerns and the replies.😚😚

If you need your ears syringing the docs ask you to use this initially so at least if you do end up needing syringing you are ready x

Normal olive oil will do as well, ideally slightly warm (not hot!)
