Don't know what to do!

Hey everyone!

I had a miscarriage about two months ago (sept 17) and it was quite bad physically. I am now having pregnancy symptoms again. I have been feeling sick, metallic taste in my mouth, gone off dairy products more milk and yoghurts than anything else, lost interest in food, really sensitive noise and going to the toilet a lot. I did a test today 08/11 and said negative. The only thing is my body isn't very reliable because I have been known to bleed while pregnant. I did speak to my doctor yesterday and she said she thinks I am but can't be sure and told me I need to wait for two weeks. If I had a blood test done now do you think the HCG levels would show up on that now?

I would probably try again in a week or so n if negative give it another. She's probably told you to wait 2 weeks in case the HCG levels from your previous pregnancy are still there.

I have been in your position. We lost our second in April and got caught at the end of June. I had a 2 and a half day period beginning of July so didn't find out I was pregnant until the end of July.

Hope it all works out for you hun x

Thank you lovely just worried that I may have another miscarriage because it's so close to the last one and would prefer to know that I am or I'm not pregnant so I know what to do and what not to do. I didn't know last time I was pregnant until it was too late x

I was worried too hun as we have lost 2 angels 4 months apart then got pregnant nearly 3 months after our second but I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant with our rainbow boy and he's got a good strong heartbeat and we're both doing really well. Honestly the worry will never leave you but it will happen for you :).

The wait is an absolute killer. We had to wait a week to find out if I'd miscarried the second time because I was only 5 and a half weeks. Just try and keep busy n the days will pass quick enough :). You don't wanna take one too early, as tempting as it is, because you may not get a true result. Sorry I can't offer much more advice! Fingers crossed for you! X

I have just gone through this myself! I miscarried end of August and 3/4 weeks later I realised I had not had a period and I was getting pregnancy symptoms again, I done a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I booked in for a midwife and she contacted me and advised me to have two separate blood tests to check my hormone levels, the nurse doing the blood actually did a pregnancy test through blood which came back positive this week. - I have my first midwife today.

It’s not been easy, And even know I still feel like I’m not actually pregnant and she is going to tell me some bad news today!!

Any questions or if you want a chat, I’m here :-) xxx

Thank you for your reply lovely. Congratulations on your good news! I'm going to wait another week or so (even though this feeling sick idea is not going down well!) and then do another test if it still reads negative I am going to ask them for a blood test. Xxx
