Inguinal Hernia Operation

Hiya I'm really quite worried, and I'm hoping to get some reassurance from parents that have been through this operation with their L.O's. My son is 20 weeks old and is having this operation on wednesday. He will be anaesthetised and I've read some awful stories online of it going terribly wrong for such little ones. Please could you tell me what you have experienced? Was it scary for you? Rache x

Hi Hun , I am Sorry to hear about your little one going for this operoso small and young ! My children have never gone through this operation but I didn’t want to read and run as I know as a parent how worrying it all is! I can relate to the hernia myself as I had one done last year via surgery the good thing about them being so small they won’t remember or fear going to hospital but all should be straight forward, I know we all look up google etc but sometimes it’s no good for us it causes more stress and worry !
