Maternity self referral

Hi guys, how long does it normaly take for the hospital to schedule the first appointment? I'm 5 weeks pregnant and have submited the referral a week ago.

First booking appointment with midwife is around 10 weeks with the first scan around 12 weeks.

I had my booking appointment week 8, most have it week 8-10 then a scan week 13. At your booking appointment you will be given a book and dates of all future appointments.

I remember thinking I'd call them because it seemed to take ages but then the letter came, I think it was round 8 weeks. You're still pretty early on so they're in no rush to get you in just yet
