Both tests negative, but period days later lasted one day?

For a month I freaked if I was pregnant, (long story involving mistrust) finally took two pregnancy tests a week ago. One at night, one morning. Both negative. I am on birth control, and took Plan B within 20 hours.

A few days later, I had my period for only one day and it was moderately light. This is about a week late (but my period don't always come at the same time).

Am I still okay? I plan to take another test in a week or two just to be safe.
