7 weeks and bad back ache

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I have really bad back ache this early in pregnancy. I have had 4 boys my youngest is 13 years old. I don't remember ever having this early on.Having another scan on Wednesday.

A big time gap and I have been taking paracetamols but not helping! Anyone got any advice? Thanks x

I also had this problem at 8 weeks. I went in the chemist and asked. All she said i could have was paracetamol and a hot water bottle. I asked about heat packs but as there isn't enough evidence that it won't affect your baby as pregnant women obviously don't want to be tested on. When sitting down, maybe try rolling a towel up and putting it at the bottom of your back for support. My fiancé bought me a long maternity pillow which as been the best thing ever at night! X

Two of my friends (both of whom it turns out are having girls actually!) had lower back ache from really early on and swore by using a maternity pillow from that very early stage. So perhaps try that out? Other things that helped them was watching their posture (the more babies you have had the more you tend to lean forward earlier on apparently?) and also some really light swimming. Also if you do a lot of walking make sure your shoes are appropriate as walking on hard ground with hard sole shoes can hurt your back more. Good luck

I am feeling the same. Only 4 weeks pregnant but have had really bad lower backaches. My youngest is 13 months old but I also have 7 other children. Yes all mine but anyway the only thing that is helping right now is warm baths and massages. Also it might sound a little crazy but I already have a strong feeling this baby is a girl. I knew with most of mine. Have 6 boys and 2 girls. Never really had lower back problems with the boys. Also never really had acne with boys but am already breaking out. Girls take all your beauty.
