High blood pressure and Preclampsia!
Hi there! I'm just wondering whether anyone has experienced high blood pressure through 3rd trimester??
I've had to be monitored and so has babies heart beat at day clinic!!(this was just an off chance I went to a drop in and got sent there) But I didn't feel any different to normal! Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this??

You don't necessarily feel anything with pre eclampsia. If you do such as abdominal pains funny visions etc that's actually a worrying sign and you should get in touch with the ante natal clinic. A lot of conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes don't necessarily have symptoms but need to be monitored as cause problems
I had high bp at the end of my first pregnancy. My midwife picked it up at my routine appointment and sent me to the day assessment unit. They asked me if I had any headaches or blurred vision but I had nothing other than swelling in my ankles which I had had from weeks. I was monitored and given medication to reduce my bp during labour but we both ended up fine!
