Hello so apparently I'm 5weeks 1 day pregnant with my second bubba Any ideas when it's good to make a GP appointment?

I'd give the gp surgery a call and ask what the procedure is for your surgery. Seems to be varying stories from people on here. I was referred straight to midwife where NICE guidelines say to are to have your first booking appointment by 10 weeks.

Usually the midwife will make an appointment for when you're 8 weeks xx

I made an appointment with my gp as soon as I found out. I was at a similar stage to you. My gp did a quick health check and made my first midwife appointment for approximately week 8.
