MSUD should not stop a pregnancy test from working

Pregnancy tests respond to increased levels of a hormone, HCG which is associated with pregnancy.

Early pregnancy tests may show as negative. I would wait until period due date. You can get pregnancy tests from the pound shop.

Since I have had a larproscopy done in may 2014, I thought that my periods would get back to normal and they are none existing

Laparoscopy don't normally fix periods. Depends why it was done, was it as a diagnostic test? Periods are regulated by hormones and laparoscopies don't meddle with hormones at all
