I'm having period pains but no period

Hello, I have the implant in and since november last yer, have had no periods at all. Today I started getting period like pains and feeling sick.Not sure what it could be, but am pretty sure its not my period. I'm having my implant taken out next week, could it be because of that?

Any ideas?
