My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a couple of months, my cycle is normally 35 days and this month I had light spotting for 3 days, 6 days before my period was due. My period has never been early and always lasts at least 5 days. I am now 10 days past my period due date but getting negative pregnancy tests! Should I go to see the doctor or hold out for another couple of weeks? It's so frustrating not knowing if the light spotting was a period or not! Any advice or previous experience would be greatly appreciated!

Anything abnormal in regard to bleeding do not wait and go to the gp. Could be an infection etc and the quicker its treated the better. As a minimum They can at least do some swabs and eliminate some things it could be
Apologies as I don't have any specific advice or experience myself. As per previous reply always best to seek professional medical advice x
It's normal to occasionally miss a period or be a bit early or late. Wait 2 weeks. Take a pregnancy test again. Ask your GP surgery to refer you to maternity services if you get a positive test. You can request that over the phone.
