High fluid in pregnancy

Hi im 32 +5 pregnant i had a scan the other day and my fluid is measured at 8.2cm . Should i be worried because i cant stop thinking about it.has anybody had simular problem and what happened.

Did they not say anything to you? I have an overall 22cm and I'm being sent for another glucose test and consultants and being monitored twice a week. An Monday little man weighed approx 4lb 4 xx hope your not to worried have you read through your notes? Xxx

They normally give you an AFI level (amniotic fluid level index). Range is something like 5-23. Ideally 11-18. It sounds like you have a pocket of fluid that's 8cm. You should clarify. It might be nothing and reduce next time you get scanned. I had high amniotic fluid levels and my son had a cleft palate X
