Light pink is probably just normal spotting and nothing to be concerned about. Fresh red blood is the problem and needs immediate attention. It's worth getting in touch with your early pregnancy unit though and go through the details with them to make sure. It's also worth knowing that straining is likely to cause spotting so try to avoid this, I know that you said when you pee but its info worth passing on. See your GP if necessary.

I agree probably means nothing .

And the truth is if your body is going to do something like misscarry then you can not stop it .

In other words there is nothing you can do no matter what happens.

The most is take it easy for a few days but even then things happen.

What's going to be will be .

Not trying to sound mean but want you to get you are not responsible for what ever way things turn out .

Hi, probably can be normal, but sometimes if there is bleeding in the upper urinary tract( kidney, ureter,) due to urinary tract infections we can see light pink coloured urine. So you need to consult your doctor or midwife.

This is my first pregnancy, I am 34, and I had pink discharge as well (never in knickers- only on toilet paper) it was on / off for 2 weeks randomly every other day / forthnight. 12 week scan showed a healthy baby.

Now I am 23 weeks pregnant with a big baby boy bump. Yesterday I managed to record a video of littleone kicking and moving about in my tummy and sent it to his daddy 😍

If it gets heavier red then worth checking it out. Good luck!x

I had spotting at 7 weeks, I booked an appointment with my GP. She said I need to get checked out as it could be an ectopic pregnancy. The next day I went for a scan and everything was fine and we saw a heartbeat aswell. At 11 weeks it happened again. A few days later I miscarried.

I would say definately get checked out. It could be absolutly nothing wrong as pink discharge can be normal but then again it could go either way.

I wish you good luck and hope everythings fine and you have a normal healthy pregnancy x
