Positive only after 9 weeks

When I get pregnant I can only get a positive urine or blood after 9 weeks gestation. To get an accurate determination I have to get an ultrasound.

I'm wondering do they know why it takes so long before you get results .

I'm sure it's something like the HCG hormones have not built up but it seems most get results in under a week late

Just wondering if you knew why it takes that amount of time

No idont know why, but the HCG hormone will not show up in blood or urine until 10 weeks just station for some women. I guess it's just one of those weird things.

I can’t help but wonder if I’m going through this now. I’m a week late and having all the symptoms. My tests are coming back negative but the symptoms aren’t stopping my hormones aren’t imbalanced and my period doesn’t feel like it’s coming. Usually I can feel it coming. It’s so so strange. I’m never late usually a day early.
