Hi. Unfortunately when you are pregnant there is not much other than the basics that you can do. Rest, drink lots of fluids and eat the best you can. In theory you can take some paracetamol but I think it is better if you don't, especially relatively early on. I found it was the only time I had to take time off work when pregnant because laying down stopped my head aching so much. I did find that hot Ribena or hot lemon helped but avoid honey. Sorry I can't be more help but like most pregnancy ailments it just another thing you have to sit and wait out :( x

Hi, hope you feel better soon. Paracetamol is OK during pregnancy but obviously limit this but don't have lemsips or beechams as they can cause problems in early pregnancy as are decongestives. Vics and olbas oil is OK to use also. I have had a horrible virus for the last 3 weeks that doesn't seem to be shifting and I am 31 weeks pregnant. Mine started with sinus pain which has now gone to throat pain and headaches. Just generally feeling wiped out. Your immune system is very low during pregnancy so also make sure you top your vitamin levels up properly.
