Sac no baby

Today I went to the epu for a scan and from my last period my GA is 7w4d but there was a sac with no baby and a bruise under my sac the woman told me that I will bleed and if it's too heavy go hospital but it shouldn't effect the pregnancy I have to go back in 2 week for a scan anyone else had this? TIA

When I had scan at my first doc appointment in the first 8 weeks, there was a sac with nothing else to see on the image. Doc confirmed "chemical pregnancy" to me at the time which freaked me out. Now at 14+ weeks, scan shows my little one in there allright. I wish you best of luck that things develop nicely! Every pregnancy is different, so keep your spirits up and time will tell. Keep us posted how you're doing!

Thanks I will I'm so worried cause before this pregnancy I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks just driving myself crazy !!

Had my second scan sadly had an ovum miscarriage

That's so sad! I am very sorry for you. Do you have a partner you can share your grief with? I hope you are not alone... It might be useful to ask doctors if there might be medical reasons why this happened again. They might say it's just bad luck, but maybe they can know something. It must be such a mad rollercoaster of emotions for you. Sending you a big hug!
