7 days late

I am now 7 days late my last period was November 2. I've always been regular never been this late before. Around the time I was suppose to get my period I had bad cramping and bloating with some back pain, now I feel nothing but some light cramping. I've taken a pregnancy test and it come out negative, and I don't know if it's because it's to soon to tell? Am starting to worry because if I am pregnant I want to make sure am doing everything right.

When in doubt, assume that you are pregnant. I say that in tems of your behaviour: because if you were pregnant, you'd be motivated to immediately stop drinking, smoking, driving yourself mad with work or carrying other people's washing mashines as you're helping them move house, etc. etc.

In other words, your and possible babys health first.

Unfortunately it is not uncommon for women to have conflicting information at the beginning, as the hormonal levels might not have risen enough to be detectable yet, and so you might look at another week of uncertainty.

Try to take it with humour. Allow yourself to imagine: ok, let's say I am pregnant, how do I like that? Play the role of it until you have certainty.

A blood test at a doctor's will give you more info. Make an appointment ASAP.
