4-5 weeks pregnant!

Hi everyone, I did a test during the week and I am pregnant after 3 years of trying! We had a miscarriage 6 months ago, so I am incredibly nervous about this pregnancy. I am afraid to be excited until I am further along and out of the danger zone. I want to book a scan but not until I am 7 or 8 weeks along. What do you think? Xx

Congratulations. I know how you feel about being nervous to be excited I feel the same way. I'm 8 weeks and so have decided to be patient and wait for the 12 week scan. However I do believe anything that can put your mind at ease should be done.

im currently 9 weeks and had my early scan when i thought i was 7 weeks and 5 days, it put my mind at ease as it is my first pregnancy and i haven't had any harsh symptoms, so when i saw my baby and herd its heartbeat and that nothing was wrong it made me very happy and feel like i was allowed to be excited

That sounds like a good plan. I'll give it a little more time, just to steady my mind and get used to the idea. I want to be calm and relaxed so that I can be excited when I see the scan. Thank you xx

Yeah always best to give it time to settle first plus you won't be able to see much anyway till 12 weeks so better to wait to see a little bit more
