6 weeks and 5 days pregnant feeling sick all the time, not actually being sick lost all Interest in food, some more than others cheese makes me wretch, and the smell of cooking is worse sometimes depending on what it is, is there anything I can do or tips to make me eat more substantial meals

I couldn't be near cooking with my last pregnancy 😂. I found I went off anything heavy on number 2 and only wanted things like green beans and new potatoes... Anything 'fresh' tasting. Maybe try something like that? Not a big thing, not strong taste wise... Might be worth a go. I know some people swear by bananas because of the energy but I can't stand them so can't vouch for that lol. Vanilla Muller light and allbran golden crunch clusters are really nice too. Try keeping some sort of snack on you as hunger can make sickness worse, so maybe a little something by your bed for when you wake up but before you get up? BTW I'm not some health nut! Its just the only thing I wanted to begin with on number 2 and on number 3 I was doing slimming world ☺ so that's where the allbran with mullerlight comes in!

I survived on takeaways and hubby use to cook the meals while I m locked upstairs so I s don't smell it. I m 12w5d and still nauseous and sick pretty much every day. I found that dry crackers with salt helped a lot (I wake up at 3am to munch😞).

I read an article that they re recommending GPs to be less tight about morning sickness and that there's quite few pills that are safe so I ll wait this week and give it a go.

ill have a go with some crackers, i can only eat chicken kebabs as ive gone off cheese completely so cant have pizza, garlic bread or anything, gotta get my thyroid checkout first been up since 5am wired with so much energy :(

Small frequent meals .... I'd probably not go for pizza etc which can be pretty heavy, although I couldn't resist crisps in the first trimester 😳 Eat first thing when you get up strangely it will make you feel better. I used the graze through the morning but tried to keep it healthy since I was constantly eating not to feel sick...

Hey Hun! We have the same dates lol

I realised I can't eat much 😩 And 75% what I eat makes vomit 😷 But I love warm Turkish bread, fresh salad and things that aren't oily or saucy lol appetite is horrible but hopefully it gets better. Jamaican ginger beer settles my stomach but can't take any other fizzy.

Hi

I am 6 weeks and 3 days and I just don't feel like eating breakfast..... Which is so unusual for me as breakfast was the one thing I was always hungry for. Do feel like having cold milk in the morning though and it helps with the acidity that I am getting. Some food smells really put me off but not that bad nausea yet. Yoghurt settles my stomach though, maybe it will work for you as well
