Hey ladies am seven weeks pregnant my problem is I feel more pain everyday its like period pain and cramps one week ago I went to the doctor for the scan everything was fine..plz ladies iam confused 😖 its is normally?!

You can have abdominal pains at any point of a pregnancy as your hormone levels rise your progesterone makes things more lax and stretchy. However if the pain is getting more and more it's worth getting checked out again, especially if you get any bleeding. You can take things like paracetamol at this point but avoid NSAIDs (eg ibuprofen). Hopefully it will just your body adjusting to things and nothing more.

Hi, I agree with Roxanna. I had these cramps in the early days too and they settled down. I was very concerned as I've had mc in the past but all is fine and it's perfectly normal to get pains, especially if it if your first pregnancy. I had a little bit of bleeding too but again, this can be normal and more common than people think. If you saw the baby on the scan, and you have no bright red flowing blood or clots, you should be fine. I also found that some of the pains are from constipation and would go away after going to the loo. I think if the pain comes and goes, you should be fine. Try not to worry too much.

Thank you so much ladies now I hope that all its normal and I will to the scan a gain...but I don't know when the heart of the baby start developed cause am seven weeks and one day today..so I wish to see at least the heart is working

I didn't see a heartbeat at 6 weeks but I did at 8 weeks. Maybe wait until 8/9 weeks to be sure you'll see it. I think I also read that seeing the hb after 8 decreases risk of miscarriage a lot and you will then only have about 4 weeks to wait until your 12 weeks scan. The waiting between scans is difficult so if you can minimise this time, I think it's better!

They can't see baby's heart developing at this point, the heart development is checked At the 20 week scan. What they might see is the heartbeat, especially if you say your first already had a heart beat... I assume so as you said it was ok.

I remember having a lot of period pain type cramps in the early few weeks (and occasionally stronger pains!) and I guess my uterus started expanding early. As long as you don't have very severe pains and/or bleeding I think they are normal. Mine went away after about 12 weeks.
