Congratulations on being pregnant. It's not unusual to spot at the beginning of a pregnancy, especially when your period should have been normally due. I had it with all my 3 pregnancies (mine was more brown spotting). It is scary and a bit worrying but I have 3 healthy boys. If it's anything more than just spotting unfortunately at 6 weeks there's nothing that you can do. Hope all is well. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
