Hi, henny74....

I hear ya, girlfriend...I have the same thing going on. It's in both wrists. I take Tylenol for the pain. That's what my Dr told me to take. I'm 5 1/2 weeks, and this started, around 3 weeks. I also have right shoulder pain, and my right-hand will feel like it's going numb. Kinda feels like pins and needles. I thought I was going CRAZY! Here's a GREAT website to get a lot of information from. It's one of my favorite sites next to this one. babycenter.com/viewComments... I hope you find this helpful. Hang in there and keep me posted on how you are doing. ♥

Hi Henny,

I had carpal tunnel syndrome from the 4th month right through the end of my pregnancy: 2 wrists fitted with splint. My hands had ballooned, I could not grab anything and was very clumsy! Hubby called me robocop

Towards the end of the pregnancy, my ankles started to swell badly as well. All this is due to retention water. I have always ballooned a bit during my periods, so I suppose my body was predispose for it. The bad news is that there is not much you can do except pain killers and drink lot of water. The good news is that it will disappear a couple of days after the birth.

Good luck!
