Braxton hicks?

Hi I'm 25 weeks and 4 days and the last few days my stomach has been tensing and feeling really heavy it last between 1 to 2 minutes I get them every 1 or 2 they don't hurt just uncomfortable and feel like I need to go for a long walk to try make it not tense or a shower! Isit Braxton hicks xx

Hi,

this happened to me too at about this stage. I panicked (as I did with a lot of things!) and phoned the midwife. was told it more than likely was, and to rest and drink lots of water. this did seem to help. Good luck, and enjoy the resting! xx

awww thank you very much I'll try and rest at work lol it's a very weird feeling but at least I'm not losing the plot lol x

I didn't get them until I was gone 30 weeks but I was told if they disappear when you change what you are doing then it's Braxton hicks. That sounds confusing lol! So if you were lying down and having them, then walking would stop them...or the other way around! Make sense??!

Yeah I went to the doctors today and explained and they said it was braxton hicks! Very weird feeling lol thank you very much I have to walk when I get them because it helps thank you xx
