Hey, I was lucky enough not to suffer too badly whilst pregnant but I have at various other times. I have found lactulose to be a really help, essentially it's just a sugar solution so no nasties for bubba. Prune and fresh orange juice are also said to be good but I've never really tried these.

Also, make sure you keep your fluids up to prevent making it worse.

Hope you feel better soon x

Hi

I have used lactulose or I found dates work well instead of prune juice.

Urgh I had this at the ends of pregnancy and am still suffering now although it's easing! Bran cereals seems to help! I find them surprisingly tasty too! Lots of fruit is also good!

I also found lactulose was a great help - I used it through most of my pregnancy, got it on free prescription from the doctor with my maternity exemption card. I'm certain mine was caused by taking Pregnacare tablets - the extra iron messed me up completely. Once I stopped that and just took individual vitamins, plus the lactulose, it was was much better. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x

I took Fibogel sachets which are a powder you mix with water -a natural way of increasing your fibre intake but they only worked for a while. Then I took lactulose when it got really bad - wished I'd taken it from the start. I was already eating loads of bran and fruit and drinking loads of water. Talk to your GP or MW to see what will be best for you.

A few weeks ago when I was about 17 weeks I suffered badly with it but I drank fresh orange juice and made sure I had cereal every morning and it's slowly but surely made a difference

3 litres of water a day helps me when this annoying problem arises.. Green tea or Matcha green tea also helps and so does lots of warm water with lemon
