Spotting after sex

Can anyone help Im about 5 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy and after I have sex with my partner I bleed a tiny bit, it doesn't look fresh it looks more like old blood, I'm slightly worried does anyone know what this is?

Hi no need to worry its normal to bleed after intercourse.

I had some spotting a few times after sex, whilst i was pregnant. Especially during the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. My doctor told me it was nothing to worry about. However if you experience unusual pain after sex / have heavier spotting / constant bleeding after sex - i would recommend seeing your doctor, just to check everything is ok. However from what I know, it's normal.

It's been fine since just now I'm due on I've had abit of light bleeding had it checked out and I have a internal on Tuesday

Yeah happened to me at 7 weeks too. It happens commonly after sex (even, erm, when it is sex with yourself). As long as it is brown blood and lasts less than 24 hours you shouldn't worry too much but tell your GP/midwife when you next speak to them.
