Has anyone else had hip bursitis in pregnancy? I have been diagnosed by a physio as I was having intense pain at night in both hips. She said ideally I need to avoid sleeping on my sides - which is how we are told to sleep in pregnancy! She has taped my hips which seems to have helped and I have to ice them a few times per day. She says I can have ultrasound treatment and/or steroid injections if it doesn't improve but I am nervous about this in pregnancy.
Anyone else had any experience of this?
