Should I worry that I haven't gained any weight between 36 and 38 weeks?

I thought weight gain didn't slow until after 38 weeks and that this period was a time when baby was gaining lots of fat.

It's not about how much weight you put on it's about how big the baby is measuring. Your weight can be affected by other things that aren't directly related to your baby. My midwife only weighed me once at my first appointment but measured my bump every time as that is the measurement which is important. As long as your bump is growing then baby is fine! X

As Jacksonla said it dosen't really matter how much weight you personally gain as long as you're eating healthly & keeping well hydrated the baby will then get all the right nutrients to grow & be born healthily too.

I hardly gained any weight during my pregnancy last year & my daughter ( now 7 months) is absolutely fine.

I lost 4oz at this point in my pregnancy. Midwife said not to worry as it was a small loss and it could be down to being able to eat less because there was less room in my stomach or could even be a large poo (ha). I gave birth to a healthy 8lb1oz baby 10 days ago :) hope this helps
