He was jaundiced after birth and got cured. During tht time in hospital they advised to give formula so we gave him formula and he was having in bottle. after coming home we gave only breast milk. weekly once used to give expressed milk in bottle. suddenly he stopped having in bottle and cries if we give him in bottle. not sure how to make him to take bottle as well. Because when ever we go out its very difficult to feed him.

What feeding bottles are you using?

Some babies may find it difficult to feed from certain teets on bottles as they may be taking in quite alot of wind when they're trying to feed.

Feeding bottles such as the Tommee tippee closer to nature bottles are good at preventing this as the teets are shaped like the ends of our breasts.

If you are already using these bottles it may be the fact that your baby wont allow you to feed him with the bottle as he already knows you (as mum) has got another feeding supply aka...your breasts, is it possible your husband or another family member could feed him with the bottle occassionally?

Out of all three of mine theres only been one I could get to take a bottle. It can be an very frustrating but in the end I just carried on bf cz i didn't see point in upsetting them. I think if you really want him to take it then a lot of perseverance is going to be needed! ! Goodlluck x

What flow teat are you using? We found with our first born that by 4/5 months even 3 wasn't fast enough and we had to make the holes a little bigger, or maybe your issue might be the opposite and the flow is maybe too fast. Just something else to consider. Good luck.

I feel your pain. These ladies are right that perseverance is the key. I don't have enough milk now so have been forced to train my LO. Very stressful ! Still not there but better with Nuk latex teat as much softer than silicone. Not cheap though ... Xx
