Firstly Congrats on the pregnancy!

Secondly I wouldn't worry too much. I was exactly the same. It was horrendous. I practically lived in the toilet and every remedy under the sun didn't help me and as for water that was the hardest thing for me to keep down. I'm now over 21 weeks and still struggle with water and still occasionally sick.

I did find I could sometimes drink milk but very slowly and apple and raspberry juice was sometimes okay. Even tho it's horrible as long as you are getting some fluid you will be okay. I lost weight at the start as well because I couldn't eat and everyone kept saying it gets better. And I can honestly say it does get better.

Keep going Hun. If you're still worried go back to the doctor. If yours is anything like mine they need serious pushing to get them to do anything. So keep nagging x

Ps I has all the cold/flu symptoms as well. So not on your own x

During early pregnancy its completely normal to feel physically drawn Aka.. Tired and sick as your body is now going through a rapid change to start caring and nourishing for a growing baby.

as your pregnancy goes on you should start to slowly feel better and you'll also gain your appetite back but in the meantime its important to try and keep as hydrated as possible by drinking lots of fluids.

x

I was really ill between weeks 7-10 (am now 13) I could only drink fizzy water and struggled to eat anything until someone recommended chicken broth to me, which worked like a charm! I also started weekly acupuncture for the sickness at week 9 and it made a difference for me. I was throwing up at least six times a day but after my first treatment it went down to once a day and then since the second I was just sick a couple times a week. I had already been having acupuncture on and off so that might be why the effect of increasing treatments was quite fast but it might be worth a try. Do find someone with expertise in treating pregnant women though if you consider trying it.

I'm 11 weeks and I feel the same to be honest.. I have to force myself to walk whilst the sun is out and I feel much better after. We are due at similar time so we can share our suffering. It's my first so I've no idea what to do apart from waiting for my midwife to call me and take it from there. Eat very little and often it help with my nausea a lot.

Wear a moisturizer at bed time. lip gloss that does not rub off- use a barely there color and color outside your lips. When dry, use the other end for the shine - it is like an oil. Lip plumping products are also help for chapped lips problem and make them softer and fuller.. bit.ly/1BU0VFa
