Pain constantly...getting nowhere...

I have currently not been diagnosed with endometriosis – only suspected. I was due to see the gynaecologist in May to elaborate on my pain that has been dull on and off for four years.

I am 30 and now 4 months pregnant. Scans and internal ultra sound show nothing but a cyst on my ovary but that is not all. I have endo symptoms and feel that its getting worse in pregnancy. People say this isn’t possible but having read the symptoms I have self diagnosed myself. Has anyone been pregnant with endometriosis? I feel like its worse when my bladder is full.

Hi there,

My thoughts are as your baby grows your organs particularly around your pelvic & stomach area get pushed and shifted from their original place & therefore is causing the pain and discomfort around your pelvis.

Depending on what stage or gestation you are during pregnancy it can also feel as if your bladder is constantly full & this will be also putting some sort of pressure on your overys.

If the pain feels too unbearable I believe your g.p could be able to refer you to an consultant as it may become too servere as the pregnancy progresses and could also hinder the delivery of your child.
