Have you recently started or just stopped taking a course of contraception or anything?

Your menstrual cycle can also sometimes be dependant on what could be happening in your lifestyle for example; if you were experiencing any brief stresses.

I thought it may well could have been one or the other yes!

Life in general can cause us a lot of stress sometimes but its important to take care of yourself when you can as stress can only have very bad reactions on our bodies.

Take care!

Missed period for this long (3 months) is surely not good to hear. Here are five questions you need to answer

Did you have sexual intercourse weeks back?

Are you in your 40's?

Are you having light, irregular periods?

Do your breast hurt, swell and sore?

Have you lost much weight recently?

This guide could help you medplux.com/i-havent-had-my...

I am 39

If it's bothering you is worth seeing your doctor, there are some tests they can do.

Also diet effects periods, I had anorexia throughout my teens and early twenties and barely had any periods, are you eating enough?

Sounds like you need to see your GP...I'm sorry but I really don't think we are going to be able to give you the answers you are seeking...All the best

Go to your doctors. I didn't have periods. My periods would be between 3 to 9 months. + put on weight. I was told I had psco (I think that's right) from 18 + now I'm 39 with two children. + it could be your diet. It could be anythink.

Worth seeing your GP. I had many times in my life where I skipped my periods for no apparent reason and like you I was also not having sex. It was stress, diet and sometimes periods are just not regular enough for some woman until a certain age (I had mine regularly only after 25, but also found it as no issue with fertility as got the baby girl at first try :P )

You could go to a cash clinic and ask for advice. You don't need an appointment.

This often happens with hormonal imbalance. But really it could be anything. You should see a gynae.

You need to go to the doctor. You're definitely NOT pregnant if you're not sexual active. It's fairly common....lots of people have irregular periods for a number of reasons. Being underweight, STRESS, other medical conditions such as polycystic ovaries and lots more. Talk to your sister if you feel comfortable, if not just book an appointment with you GP. They will do some tests and advise you the best from there x
