Hey, poor little thing! How old is he?

I think 38 and over if less than 3 months suggests call to GP but if 3 to 6 months it's 39 and over.

Either way might be worth a call? Does he have any other symptoms?xx

He's 9mths and is not himself ive called the doctors and waiting on a call back fron them to say come down. He's got conjunctivitis aswel which isn't helping :-( am quite worried :'( xx

I'm sure he'll be fine but always best to get temps checked out. Maybe don't wait too long for a call back - if they don't call soon and you're still worried I'd pop him down to walk in centre for your own peace of mind if nothing else xxx

I know that's what im thinking. Im pretty sure my surgery closes ay 5.30 so time is running out. Thanks for your replies hun xx appreciate it x

Anything over 37.5 is classed as "abnormal" but temp can vary from child to child. How is he in himself? I'd probe call gp

Just to be sure. I'm sure you have already but strip him down to his vest and maybe sponge him down with a cool cloth to bright his temp down asap xx

Don't feel daft - I'd rather be reassured with a healthy child than take a risk with a very poorly child any day! I hope he's lots better very soon. Oh and try wiping his eye with breast milk on cotton wool for his conjunctivitis, it's supposed to help xx
