Thrush pessary on pregnancy?. I used the canesten pessary prescribed by my gp.

Whilst using the pessary I was having a few problems trying to get it in place and inserting into my vagina (sorry for tmi) and it dropped of the applicator on my bed and got a few, I'd call it cotton of the bed, but there wasn't loads and I didn't notice till I started inserting, will it be alright?, I'm guessing it will as of sex, and fluff from boys trackies sometimes get on there!, am I just over worrying?, I'm 18 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

Hi there, It is safer to push the pessarie without applicator when pregnant. Hope the thrush goes away! Goodluck

Hi you should be fine I waa given the pessary but told not to use the applicator as women sometimes push it to far up.

I used applicator pushed it in about 3mm which is bout the length of my finger anyway, and I've woken up with wetness in my underwear that normal?
