Hi ladies me again! Hope you're all ok. I'm looking at electric breast pumps and was going to go with the Tommy Tippee one but reading the reviews i'm having second thoughts. my sister who's had 3 kids said to def get an electric one but which one? there's so many!!!! I'd really appreciate your recommendations, thanks :-) xxx

U need to weigh up how often u will use it..I bought a manual tommee tippee for £20 and glad I didnt spend loads on electric as I only use it once a week if tht, if ur gonna use it every day then yeh be beneficial..I am bf and had a hell of a job getting my son to take a bottle. The tt manual is easy to use I do it whilst feeding my son and at right time of day I can get 150ml in 10 mins. X

I bought a manual Tommee Tippee pump which I would recommend. I use it a couple of times a week, but plan to use it a lot more when I return to work. They're currently selling them for £10 on Amazon(!).

I've got tommee tippee electric and I think it's really good. I find the pump comfortable aswel. Only thing I can say that is a negative is quite loud. There on offer in mothercare £69.99 instead of £99 :-)

Lansinoh products including pumps have good reviews on Amazon. I am looking to buy the duo one as I am expecting twins.

I have got the medela swing £130.00, i bought it because my little one has a tongue tie and we are still waiting for the op. The pump works great much better than a manual but its not the quietest , gets good milk though, pumping as i type:-)

I had this one but was only £73 on Amazon in November! I just had to check and shocked to see it's almost doubled in price within 2 months. I didn't get on so well with it though and returned it - the manual Avent one I had worked better for me. Ref the tongue tie — mine had that, it was at the tip of her tongue but she had it snipped by the paediatrician at 3 days - didn't need an operation for it. Whats the reason they are giving for an op? x

I now use a medela swing. I initially bought the Ameda Lactaline Double Electric but found that the suction was not very good at all.
