So I'm 37 weeks today, have finally moved out and arranged my homebirth, yaaaay!!! I have my first home visit with the midwife today and just wanted to know what to expect so I can be prepared..
Does the midwife still check babys heartbeat? And do I still need to produce a urine sample?
Would greatly appreciate any feedback from your experiences x
I was due to have a home birth but because my little one arrived at 36 weeks I ended up going to hospital. but i was cared for by the home birth team and yes they do have a doppler to listen to babies heart beat. when they came to see me at home during my pregnancy they took my blood, tested my urine, done blood pressure. they did everything that would have been done at the hospital only in your home. good Luck x
