Liquorice (the natural, soft eating stuff), Polos and ginger nut biscuits helped me when I felt queasy - obviously not all at once...! Hope they're of use to you X

A lot of ppl on here recommended crisps, ready salted/ salt & vinegar, and I found this helped, although I was eating loads of them, I'd eat a pack to settle my tummy then 2hrs later I wouldn't want proper food I'd b having another pack it was one of the only things I could keep down. X

Sounds like my heaven to me.....salt and vinegar loveliness lol x

Lol, I know I love s&v crisps was great but they didn't give me the energy I needed, luckily for me by about 15 weeks sickness went and could eat what I wanted, and so far no heart burn replacing the sickness so I'm quite lucky, and only 6 weeks left to go :)

I was very lucky no morning sickness and minimal heartburn....mainly within the last few weeks. You just inspired me and I ate a bag of salt and vinegar chipsticks haha! X

14 weeks already! that's gone so fast I remember reading things on here of when u were pregnant and now he's over 3months old. I hope it does too, thanks, I'm dreading labour just keeping in mind what everyone says bout when they are in ur arms you won't care about what you've been through :) x

I know time has zoomed by since he arrived!! It is so true. My experience was basically crap lol. And afterwards was hard for a few weeks but it all got better, is so worth it and we will be having another one as long as we are lucky enough to be able to :D hopefully ur experience will be better and you get the delivery you want :-) x

Bland food for me, and small portions. My husband would dish up a tiny amount, and I'd have seconds if I wanted, as a huge plate of food was so off putting. Luckily he didn't mind cooking as I really couldn't face it. It sounds mad, but eating small amounts regularly was good - I felt most sick if I had an empty stomach. You have my sympathy as it's miserable. When mine was really bad I tried to remember that it was a sign the little one was okay.

:-( urgh that's poop. Hope you find some relief soon x

Its horrible. .I was sick for 9 months straight. ..not much helped apart frm ice lollies. .fabs but I was heavily pregnant throughout the summer so wasn't too bad..nothing helped me...sorry to b the bearer of bad news but I tried everything and nothing worked. ..try and keep hydrated and if u can eat little and often. The day I gave birth was the best day as I met my son and I ate food for first time since January without throwing up. Xx

If it is really bad go and see ur g.p they can prescribe tablets to stop the nausea and sickness.... hope it eases for u soon :)

I'm in my 14th week and the morning (all day) sickness is starting to fade, it does for most people about this time. I started feeling sick as soon as I found out I was pregnant and threw up a few hours later, it was weird, it was like my brain suddenly realised I was feeling sick after all. I have found eating very very often helps, I'm usually not more than 1 1/2 hrs without eating something. Often it is a small box of raisins or a banana, or packet of walkers baked crisps or mini cheddars or nature valley crunch ginger biscuits. Then I'd just have beans on toast or a small lunch and dinner so I'm not over-eating. And a rice pot before bed (heated) is great to stave off hunger til morning. I found as soon as I got a little bit hungry I would be sick and that would immediately put me off food, so eating before I got hungry was really important. If you're struggling to keep down fluids though go to GP. I found hot water much easier to stomach than cold if I'd been sick. Hope you feel better soon!

If you can't keep anything down, you need to see your GP, to make sure you don't get dehydrated.

Well I phoned the doctors this morning and they said there's nothing they can do at this time In my pregnacy :(

Are you keeping fluids down? If not you need to get medical assistance because you'll be dehydrated and that just makes you throw up even more. It doesn't make any difference whether you're pregnant or got some bug, if you're dehydrated they've got to sort it out! If you haven't been able to keep fluids down all day go to A and E.

If you are keeping hydrated then keep trying with ultra plain things - dry toast or water table biscuits just nibbling. Try not to worry about little one, they're very good at getting what they need from you at this stage, but it'll make you feel rotten. Good luck, hope you feel better soon.
