How much formula milk should i give my 2 weeks old?

My baby is just over 2 weeks. I am giving him breast and formula. i give formula during day and breast at night. How much formula should i give him and how often?

The usual amount is 6 bottles it should say on the back how many ounces but id just follow ur baby... if it's all day then I'd say make up the 6 bottles and see how many ur baby actually does take. .. thing is with breast milk because it's easily digested baby feeds more but u might find feeding formula during the day they wont feed as much at night as they get bigger. ..I think u need to just work out a system that works for u and ur baby and judge on how much u breastfeed to how many bottles u give

I think the best possible answer to give to this sort of question is to listen to your "mother instinct"

Formula milk is a Lil bit heavier on the baby stomach so therefore it's a bit harder to digest than your breast milk, but if he seems to be hungry / asking for more you may want to top up the "formula feed" by one more ounce or something like that.
