Bath time with mummy and daddy...

Hi ladies me again...just wondering what age you start sharing bath time with your LO's. My baby boy is 10 weeks and now loves bath time. We'd love to share but imagine we'll freeze as the water can't be too warm and also not too much of it!!

I hav been having a bath with my son since he was 4 weeks. I hav a little bath thermometer so I kno how warm it is and as u will b holding him then I dont think it matters about the quantity of water. ..I usually fill it quite full as my son likes to bf in the bath so usually in there for a while x

My boyfriend has been having a bath with our boy for a couple of weeks now.....he's 8 weeks today. James loves bath time and water so he enjoys it as we put in a normal amount of water for an adult as he's held in the bath and he loves floating about lol. We too have a bath thermometer.....though really we just use our judgement on the warmth of the bath :-) x

I've been bath sharing since my daughter was about 7 weeks and now she's able to hold up her own head she likes to sit between my legs and is now discovering that if she throws her arms about she can make a good splash! I think they also feel a lot more confident if a parent is in there with them

Just my opinion :)

Hi, our babies 1st bath was with me as soon as his cord fell off! Daddy and I both have baths with him and he also flies solo. When he's with us, he's fully supported and he gets to 'float' with us holding him. If bathroom is warm then water temp not too bad, no thermometer used, just the elbow test, they are not in for that long anyway as don't want delicate skin to dry out.

We only co bath when both of us home so he is passed to one in bath and passed back for drying cuddles as thats the shouty part! Then get the hot water in and relax :-) X

Thanks ladies! We currently bath him in a tummy tub (much like a bucket) so he stays warm all the time but its difficult to interact and hold him at the same time. Love the idea of bathing together so great to hear that others are already doing it. Hopefully he'll like it just as much!

My LO is three weeks old and I will put her in the bath with me soon just as I did with all my kids, Great way of bonding and being able to keep both hands free to wash her. ( I rest her on my legs) :-) there is no correct age, as soon as you want to x
