Getting comfy when driving

I'm nearly 27 weeks, and struggle to get comfy when driving, I feel breathless as if the way I'm sitting is pushing my little madam up in to my lungs, resulting me in shuffling all the time. I work away from home so drive 4hours on a Monday and again Thursday.

Thanks for any tips or advice xx

I recently bought a bump belt for when driving one for comfort and also safety. I am only 14 weeks so not overly uncomfortable yet but it does do what it says it does and keeps the belt off your bump. As I will be having a C-section it will also be useful after baby is here. I got it on Amazon wasn't too pricey. Good luck xxx

Obv make sure the belt is under ur bump and the other bit is between ur boobs. I got a cushion to sit on and had a huge stash of cereal bars and dried fruit for energy. Unfortunately there isnt much else comfort wise to suggest specially as u hav to do tht long journey x

Thanks ladies, I know its so hard suppose its one of the joys of pregnancy. At least its only 8 more weeks I'll be travelling for, I can count them down each journey. And maybe better start stoping at the services half way for a little stretch and rest, I suppose that's one of the best things.

I always make sure belt is below bump and between breasts, I haven't bothered with a pregnancy belt I've read ppl on this forum saying it isn't worth it really, thanks tho xx

Hey, no real tips other than keeping well stocked on snacks and def consider changing into something stretchy and comfy before you start your journey. I would also really recommend stopping for a stretch break to keep everything circulating well. Not many journeys left now!

Also meant to say take plenty of time to get yourself set up and comfy before you set off which should help you feel settled.

I know its great that I can count them down but that also means its xmas when I stop, soo close, then a couple of weeks waiting around till my little princess comes.

I need to start a little bit if a packed lunch for Monday mornings from now on, I normally only take a drink, but don't drink much coz generally don't stop but its def got to the point now where 4 hours straight is just too long. Thanks for all advice xx
