I had this the other day. Panicking what needs to go in bag (still haven't sorted my bag lol) and probabaly going to repack it again. Basically if you think you need it take it. All you've mentioned I've packed. Better being over prepared than under. Got a lot of (were really quite cheap too) mini things from the likes of superdrugs to save on space x

You know I never really thought about this " until a few days ago" but I might pack 1 "just in case" as u never know what can happen

I would. When I had my LO a few weeks back we were shown how to bath him and we used all our own stuff. We had little sample sizes of things that we got at our antenatal classes - or travel sizes will take up less space in your bag. Good luck lady!

Hi hun I think it all depends how long you think you will stay in for with my 2nd and 3rd I came home same day. I did take a bubs towel however midwife said leave bathing them till next day and as for lotions and potions I dont bother they have enough chemicals on their skin just from clothes and blankets. Going from in the nudy to being dressed and wrapped must be very strange xx

I have just cotton wool for top and tail, no lotions or potions except for E45 Nappy Cream.

Whether that right or wrong, I don't know...no room in bag as increased number of Warmer outfits and ran out if room. X

I'm in the mind to pack two bags, one for the event, with a few of the essentials then a second one for OH to bring in a bit later to replenish supplies. That way I can keep the contents contained, manageable and make OH feel useful!!

I was lucky enough in one of the free-be bounty packs to have a small branded baby towel which I've laundered and packed in bag 1 along with sample products, there is something nice and familiar about using your own towels so while its probably not essential there's no harm in packing it. The worst that will happen is that I don't use it while I'm there! :)

I have packed a towel for me and baby. Also packed sudocreme but not baby bath products. Apparently you don't need to use products in the first few days, some say you shouldn't bath them even for a few days so I have just packed cotton wool. Would rather wait anyway and bath my little baby in my home bath which I know will be clean x

Hiya, I would say not. I was advised to use nothing on LOs skin until he was older other than nappy rash cream if he needed it. A towel may be useful if you will be in for a while after the birth x

I had my son on tues and they said to use warm water and cotton wool as there skin is so sensitive. ..I packed a towel but didn't use it as was only in for the night but i would say just pack cotton wool and obviously u can ask for hot water. X
