I don't think they're is a cream that can stop the stretch marks from appearing unfortunately Sorry!

but they're are some nice creams out there which can prevent the itching which stretch marks tend to give us like palmer's cocca butter in both cream & lotion.

Its just another one of those pregnancy perks we have'to deal with im afraid & its easier said than done but try not to itch too much as this can also cause scaring.

xx

Its been known for conditions a woman may have suffered with " like psoriasis" can actually get better during pregnancy so you never know you could get lucky :-)

Oh bless u,

its all very nice when we get the chance to actually forget about certain things during pregnancy isn't it :-)

xx

They say bio oil is good. .. look on chemist direct on line they usual have good deals. ..I tried the johnsons stretch Mark oil as it was on offer from sainsburys I thought that was nice.Palmers.cocca butter is another one I can't use it as I don't like the smell and texture but the oils I like x

I used bio oil every night and moisturizers each morning....33 weeks hit and my belly is literally covered in them :'( I think bio oil is good at helping the appearance fade but at this point that would be after the birth as they continue to struggle with the bump growth. It's really skin type that predisposes you to stretch marks. Hopefully you'll be luckier than me though :-)

I'm a bio oil girl - 34 weeks with my second and no stretch marks yet (not gloating - I know they can still come out to play!!) I also use Vaseline intensive care after the shower.

From what I read, the only thing that can actually make a difference is staying hydrated so I drink gallons of water, but can't bring myself to stop creaming and oiling for fear they'll arrive the second I do!

Don't worry too much about them - they're so worth it to grow a little person and will fade loads after you deliver anyway. Happy Pregnancy :-) x

I researched creams obsessively as I was concerned about the toxicity of ingredients in mainstream creams. To cut the long story short, the two creams I ended up with was from mama mio (but I hated the smell) and an unscented cream fom myantho which was great (no smell, no greasiness):

I have psoriasis too! Had it since I was 5 years old. I use Epaderm ointment - cleared them up and haven't had a flare up on my body in years. It's the only thing that has ever relieved it for me (although I appreciate it may not work on everyone). It's not a steroid so completely safe in pregnancy; it is an emollient/moisturiser so might help with both your psoriasis and potential stretch marks!

I used Sanctuary body moisturiser and oil for during pregnancy (love the smell) after showering and didn't get any stretch marks in my first pregnancy. My mum swore by baby oil, she had three of us and number 3 was 10lbs8oz and she doesn't have any stretch marks! But everyone's skin is different, so good luck experimenting!

I use aqueous cream when I shower (it is moisturising cream and it is used by ppl with eczema, though anyone can use ) then straight after I use Welleda.

So far it worked for me I am 30 weeks pregnant no stretch marks and I hope it stays that way.

I heard Bio oil is good but as it has paraffin in it I decided to go for Wellada range.

You can get Aqueous cream in any pharmacy big tab for about £5, I really can't recommended enough, link bellow if you like to read up on it and Welleda I get from amazon it is not cheap but if you buy few bottles at time you get discount and free delivery.

I've been using Cussons mum & me stretch mark cream (it was bought for me and smells amazing!) - I'm 35 weeks and have just starting seeing small stretch marks underneath bump, so am now rubbing it in as much as possible lol x

I use dermelastic serum religiously every day and my stretchmarks on belly and boobs have gone back to be nearly invisible. I'm 23 weeks now and plan to use it to the end of the pregnancy. It absorbs relatively quickly, but being so rich it does leave some stickiness on your skin.
