Hmmm could be tendinitis if you also have some Achilles heels. Does it hurt most when you get out of bed? I had it from wearing ballet pumps. Or could just be heat and a bit of extra weight! X

Heels are fine just my right foot that hurts. .. and getting restless legs when tired and cramp. ..bit dint know why is just one foot must be using that one more or maybe I'm walking differently cos of the siatica? Lol feel like I'm falling apart and there is def extra weight! Starting to feel a bit chunky don't really want to put in any more weight! But Think baby is havinga growth spurt as feeling hungry and tummy is itching ! X

Poor you, sounds blimmin painful! You probably are walking differently to compensate for sciatica pain.

I know what you mean about itchy tummy. I like to blame junior's growth spurt but I am really starting to regret my cake and ice cream binges as I'm defo piling on the pounds too. Why can't I crave carrots and celery?!

Hope you feel better xx

It is most probably plantar fasciitis. A band of ligaments that connects your big toe to the heel and the back o your calf can get inflamed with increased weight. It happens to overweight people, pregnant women and athletes that overwork their muscles. You should check with your GP. If it is indeed fasciitis the way to deal with it is special stretches that a chiropractor can show you. If you cannot afford one you can find instructions on stretches on the net.

Hi I'm a podiatrist. Wether its plantar fasciitis (pulled muscles in the arch of foot and heel) or just your ligaments relaxing usual in pregnancy giving you increased pain and muscles over stretching. I would always recommend cushioned or shock absorbing insole with arch support first (sports shops or chemist sell them) , calf stretches ( hands on wall, put back leg behind straight, front leg bent and stretch calf muscle. This needs to be done twice a day for a while to see an effect) other thing to try is a 500ml bottle fill with water, place in fridge so nice and cold. Sit down then run bottle along the floor back and forth using your arch, that might reduce some of the inflammation.

I hope that helps the only other thing is resting but if you are working and/or have other children then resting is not possible. I hope that all makes sense, hope its better soon xx
